It's a hard job getting real Marmite here. It's sold as "OurMate" as the name "Marmite" has a different Intellectual Property owner. And the "Marmite" made here tastes nothing like Marmite.
Thanks for the precision. Wonder what got in them to want to change the size of the unit.

Shoot squirrels and feel better! With your camera of course. Sometimes I think the critters at my place are better people than some people.
But, Rupert, remember not to try to eat the pictures. If you want squirrel stew, let Otis ignore this, you need to shoot them with something else.

Otis is going to be so excited....I can't wait to tell him! He's got a Do Not Disturb sign on his treetop penthouse right now....it says he is interviewing housekeepers.

Somethin' is goin' on up there!

Mrs Rupert is a great dancer....but she could never do that!

Regards!

It's got to do with how the unit was defined originally. A US Gallon = 231 cu. inches. A UK Gallon = 10lbs of water at 17deg.C.
The standardization of units and weights happened long after trade started!

Well hells bells, came here to post a couple of food pics and hate to do it right after those squirrels.

Gonna anyhow, here's my grilled pizza from the other night:

and here's the Aldi ribeye I promised:

Both tasted damn good!

Bet it tasted a dang sight better than that squirrel's butt.

Squirrel butt is actually the best part if cooked properly....but it is not good for sniffing.

Not dead.

Just working massive amounts of overtime.

No time for fooling around on the Innerwebs.

But all that overtime might help me with the funds to get a K-1. And with the full frame K-1 on the agenda, who needs a K3?

OK.

Time to shower, eat and drive to the World's Largest Building to do my part building wings.

Y'all be good now.

Oh how I remember those days! Now I just sit back and enjoy, deliver chocolates and play with my K1. All knowing that for 5 years in a row Mrs Rupert has again announced that she is not retiring on her birthday later this month....at least 6 more months of being a "Rupert Type" for me! Life is good...so good! Six months and a $20K bonus to stay...I'd take it too! I feel lens fever coming on......

Yes we are!

It's good she's gone...but better that she's just gone to work! Could not live without her, not for a day.

On my way home after a work dinner. Lots of yummy meaty stuff that all tasted the same thanks to the ubiquitous bbq sauce... But still good. And with some nice Brooklyn IPAs for company. Not too bad a night.

But then there's still two more days to survive before vacation hits

Then the vacation hits

In other words, no time for buying a K-3!
