Hey Rupert, maybe you could put a trailer behind your TT and pull Otis and crew around to cool them off on your way to Aldi.

Squirrels prefer riding in the engine compartment of my Jeep where they can nibble on the wiring harness as they ride.

After a month of stalling, the dealership body shop has all the parts and will start on my TT repairs on Monday. I never pushed them to hurry...so they didn't. It is only a few parts and I could have purchased them on E-bay and had them in two days. As a reward for my patience they dropped the deductible........it was only $100. but it helps.

Will the K1 focus in near total darkness and focus with accuracy...so unlike the problems with the K5 in low light? Absolutely!

So dark I could barely see the little critters with my bare eyes and not at all in the viewfinder.

The runt of the pack...he likes me and follows me around like a little puppy. Of course, he gets the most treats too...he's tiny but he is no dummy!

We all get an itch once in a while...

Mama was nowhere to be seen last night.....she was probably worn out from herding them around. With no parents around they were a lot more well behaved than previous litters in years past. Not a single fight broke out and they all shared the feed without an all out brawl. The favorite two foods are avocados and pizza. Aldis has avocados for .25 cents each and last night they got a dozen of them! Lots of happy faces!

If Mrs Rupert would hold a big flashlight on them so I could compose the shots, I could get some really neat shots...but she won't come out the door when raccoons are anywhere near. She says they are killers and will eventually gang up on me and do me in.......nonsense! They know where the avocados and pizza comes from, these are very intelligent little critters!

Regards!

I'm still alive, mostly.
Busier than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs; but I haven't let that interfere with my calm, pleasant demeanor.

This is wrong on so many levels.

Really.

Who spends that kind of money on an exotic sports car and puts a trailer hitch on it?

And then hauls goats and a bale of straw around town?

Some people.

Sheesh!

Way too late for boots. Raise your hand as high as you can. Maybe you can still save your watch.

My computer guru guy would not talk badly of me...I took him to lunch today at a new BBQ & Steakhouse that recently opened here.

Take a look.....

He had a Chicken Fried Steak sandwich & fries...

Here it is with the top bun off...and there are two of those steaks in there!

This is as far as he got.....raccoons will love him tonight!

Even young Bert would have to love what I had! Chicken Fried Bacon! ...and it was wonderful!

The dipping sauce was excellent too...as were the sides of potato salad and fried okra! Love fried okra!

Come on down and I'll treat you too...if you stop insinuating I am not damn near perfect!

Regards!

Don't worry. Some minds are less robust, just a fact of life.

Me? Mentally I feel quite alright (no, no need to ask my wife). Physically not so much. My feet are sore, every muscle in my legs hurt, and my back aches. My own fault - we went for a 25km/15mi hike over rough terrain in the mountains today. Brilliant walk. Except for me not being prepared for it. In truth I expected worse, though...

Might have captured some nice pictures in the process, but can't post them in this thread
What ?! You didn't see any wild bacon ? Very strange.

Still not the thing for me. I did get to lvl10 in Ingress the other day, though. Right now the nearest portal is more than 20km away (as the grouse flies), so no playing the next few days.
We went to La Rochelle on Wednesday to visit the aquarium and the city. A lot of Pokemon there and I think that Justine passed into level 13 ...

And that kind of person drives very slowly, especially where you cannot pass.
