Hopefully that didn't turn into a Johnny Cash song a few hours later.
Don't do that. (Picking myself up from the floor, sore belly and all)

Popcorn update.
Dateline South Dakota.

The Habanero popcorn was delicious. Fruity and buttery but by no means too hot to be enjoyed.
Last night it was time for the Ghost Pepper popcorn.
Distinctly different flavor, and a fair bit more intense. Very tasty. It was still below my discomfort threshold, but Mrs. Parallax drew the line there. Three pieces and she was done.
I ate the whole bag.
Glad it was decent...I'm going to order some for myself!

I deleted part of my prior post...I was not aware that it was grounds to shoot an unarmed citizen...but I do now.

Maybe Drag & Drop without comment is the best policy here. I am beginning to understand why so many do it.

Regards!

Wow.

I forgot about a few of those. Thanks for stirring my memory.

Awestruck is too weak a word to describe how I'm feeling right now.

I don't remember who posted this, but for some reason it's one of my top ten favorites, maybe top five.

Yep, and here I am on Mon morning making an appointment with a surgeon to fix my hemorrhoid problems. Not a pleasant subject, and certainly not a problem you want to have. I've been putting it off for ages, but can no longer depend on Witch Hazel and ointments to stop flare ups. Had the surgery once about 25 years ago and demanded it be done in an office visit...won't make that mistake again!

Does hot spicy food contribute to the formation of hemorrhoids? I am not sure about that, but I am sure that if you have them it can make that ring of fire light up like fireworks. I best describe it as a cactus up your butt.

Like a total idiot I added some ghost pepper sauce to my hot dog chili last night, and this morning you could put a marshmallow on a coat hanger and toast it over my bunghole.

Could have been one of several. "Hurt" is one that comes to mind.

I figured you guys would make jokes at my expense.....but still, I wouldn't wish this on you. I may lose some weight as a side effect...because I fear eating anything that goes in .....and has to come out.

I hope they have some new methods nowadays....the last time it was a nightmare for a couple of weeks and I had to wear a damn sanitary pad...gross stuff, these hemorrhoids.

I did finally do a FF shot this morning using my old Kiron 105 2.8 MF Macro lens on the K1. Went out on the deck and shot the only bloom we've seen this year. It is on that "special" plant of Mrs Ruperts'...the one the squirrels have been trying to eat.....

With flash...BTW- The 540 flash works very nicely on the K1.

Without flash

Can't see any advantage over APS-C for shots like this? Just larger files harder to manage.

Regards!
