When it's hot, and the beer is cold, damn near anything can be considered "a good beer"

That's what I figure, too, Jim. "But it's not an IPA ..." Beer snobs bedamned.

Glad you didn't say "Fosters". Tourist trap!
There is stuff called Fosters over here. Brewed in England. Can you believe it.

At least the Coopers here is brewed in Australia and shipped. Price is not much more than in Adelaide where it is brewed. Taking some to some friends tomorrow night. I tink it wil suit their palate better than the Hsiao Hsing Wine.

They brew licensed Carlsberg in Malawi. Their motto is "Pride of the nation" - not saying which nation

Good beer, though.

This song by The Band came to mind with Mathew bearing down on the southeast USA.
Wish I had a dollar for every time I played this LP.

Look Out Cleveland - The Band (The Band 9 of 12) - YouTube
Look at it this way: you got wonder value for that purchase.

OR

Why do you keep playing a record that makes you think of being paid to listen to?

Sadly, yes. The bosses frown on it. But it's never too early to think about beer! And bacon!!

That was played, as in past tense.
I still have the album..........somewhere.
Bought it for Up on Cripple Creek, but liked all the songs.

I sat on the deck the other evening sipping bourbon and listening to 60's 70's and 80's music on Pandora.
Realized I could sing along, word for word, with most all of the songs, but can't remember doodly squat otherwise.
Aging is an adventure.
