And therein lies the problem - would I really actually use the thing? I'm mostly ok with lugging my K-...umm, let's say K-5 and small primes around, but there's a reason I got that GR. A 645D is, what, 3 lbs? And the smaller lenses about 1 lb? Then you need a tripod fashioned from pure sturdy. Put together that's quite a load. I can spend a couple of grand on new equipment, but I need to be confident I will indeed make use of it before I dump that kind of money on a system.
