My definition of utter waste is a coachload of lawyers going over a cliff, with three empty seats. I always thought this was said by Mark Twain, but apparently, it was by Lamar Hunt.
Is there some reason why you two are bashing Shirley's co-workers?

As I've learnt, cycling can be hazardous to your life!

Bashing? No way. I would never bash spineless creatures!

(And I'm too coward to claim there exist honest, hard working and good people among the ambulance chasers and money grubbing populists )

Especially when one is trying to work off more than just a couple beers.

Scary thing is, I've seen someone do a 160km (100 mile) race on one of those. But - same race, I saw a fellow do it on a unicycle! That's dedication. (or madness - take your pick!!!)

I don't understand why people like to bash lawyers so much.
After all, it's only 99% that give the other 1% an undeserved bad reputation.

It appears likely that 30k, or is that K30 or something like that will not be achieve before I next look at this thread, in the morning, when it is no longer the 105th anniversary of the Chinese Revolution. The one against the Manchus, anywhere where traditional contributors to our mob are.
