OK there was walking between shoeshops; but the standing around outweighed that by a lot.

How come Mrs P (and Mrs rod!!!) don't buy stuff before the vacation, so the vacation can be enjoyed (by driving, walking, or sitting in the car while other walk)?

No big plans today, going on a short road trip next weekend.
I am having a dozen roses delivered to her at work today, last chance to do this since she retires next April.

Our friend Rupert once tried to convince us that there are, inter alia, photographer shoes. Along with photographer clothes, and then he stopped talking abut his K-1.

Yes, I've done this ... gently floating along on your back with a tyre tube underneath you is quite an experience.

Fun fact: Their chief food is each other. The adults emerge and do the usual insect thing of flying towards lights, completely forgetting they were once these carnivorous worms themselves.
