Technically, it wasn't driving or walking either. It was standing around getting a pain in the back/headache.
OK there was walking between shoeshops; but the standing around outweighed that by a lot.

Some vacation!
How come Mrs P (and Mrs rod!!!) don't buy stuff before the vacation, so the vacation can be enjoyed (by driving, walking, or sitting in the car while other walk)?

PS - Happy anniversary to the Ps and robs. I'm up to 47 years in 10 days, one hour and five minutes.
I went with my mom to visit our family in Arkansas, they spent time in Hobby Lobby. We have one here.... Nooooo. With all the beautiful mountain scenery I had to look at craft supplies. I waited in the Jeep.

That's a good sign.
Thanks, good to hear.
I think of him sometimes as our James Dean, you know, Rebel Without a Cause.

Fun fact: Their chief food is each other. The adults emerge and do the usual insect thing of flying towards lights, completely forgetting they were once these carnivorous worms themselves.
One would think that they would become extinct in short order, eating themselves.

Waitomo caves, are they anything like wait-a-bit trees?

You'll have to ask Mark. After all that is his neck 'o the woods.

Goooooood choice. I've been longing for some Bavarian wheat beer for some time - I know a couple of pubs that have some on tap, but I still need to find a supplier of bottles for my fridge. The local Tesco superstore has two aisles of beers from around the world, but no German wheat beers!
Maybe you looked in the wrong place! I found these near the Leffe and Hoegaarden.

Would that be the same as the wag-'n-bietjie boom?

Welcome to The Thread n00b. It is clear you have been reading at least the last months posts, so you should ace the quiz later on.

Let me offer you a beer.

Go ahead, pick one.

Cheers.

That would be me. Who's looking at my shoes when they would be too busy looking at the fine Image recording device in my hand?

Well, at least they are an engineer, not an extroverted mathematician.
