I don't know why there's such a culture of violence around football here in the UK. It's specific to that particular sport.
We have that here too. Happens every four years,(not Olympics) and can't be discussed here. Not really any fun either!

Formula One is faster yet. Usually around 3 seconds for 4 tires and fuel.

Here is another. The whole video follows the run of just one car, what looks like a former Formula 1 car.

226 km/h at Hill Climb Buzet - Fausto Bormolini - YouTube

Yee haw!
Raynard 3000.
Clicked, then went to you-tube full screen and turned up the volume. Pretty nice! Thanks for posting.

I have often heard 'loud pedal' but never 'loud spoon'.

Oh, you mean the loud shouting on TV that I see when I have trips to your country. And we cannot talk about it here because their supporters seems to get themselves all worked up about it.

I remember one time seeing some stock spruiker bloke getting really loud and emotional about something like when the market falls the ordinary punters who would want a show like his and use it for investment advice should pour their money in. Actually not much different than a recent movie I saw whilst flying somewhere else a few months back. The one with the hold-up in the studio.

I do not envy you. Done it twice. Very unpleasant.

Hope Otis doesn't see this.

Tonight driving home I was slowed in a 60mph zone by a car doing 30mph and wandering around on the road - hard to pass. When I di pass I blew the horn as a warning I was there. The driver held up his phone so I could see he was using it while driving.

The government seems to missing a chance to make a profit (so many people drive while operating their phones). Employ some police to catch people doing those things and they would catch enough that they would pay the wages back in great multiples so such police would become a profit centre for the government.

Starting prep? As in 'Movi Prep'?

Feeling like the Saturn V rocket as it leaves the launch pad?

In case you missed it, here is a good read on the subject: Dave Barry Recounts The Amazing Journey Into His Colon.

The first time I read this was just prior to my first 'Exploration To The Unknown'. Laughed so hard my side hurt for 3 days. In fact, I still cannot read it without busting out into uncontrollable laughter. I've read it before all 4 of the Rectal Rooter operations that have taken place in my Exit Corridor.

And I suppose my doctor will pester me again about getting this done, since I just turned 60.

It is a sick and twisted person who wanders up the path of our bowels for a living.

A necessary evil.

Like cops, lawyers and politicians.

The problem is the police are just as guilty of distracted driving as everyone else.

No kidding.

When I was a truck driver the view from the seat allowed me to see everything. I saw dozens of jerks every day fiddling about, mostly with Stoopit Phons.

And I even saw cops doing it.

How can we expect them to enforce the very laws they are bound to by their oath, when they break them too?

Thanks Racer, I needed that.
Just polished off my 7th of 8 cups of Miralax/Gatorade elixir (64 oz total) taken every 15 minutes, time is running at warp speed I tell you.
The rocket hasn't launched yet but I can feel the rumble of the engine warming up.
