I got really curious about what kind of water sports they offer... I didn't go in to ask, though.

I'd have been tempted to ask about learning to part the waters...

My apologies. As one who adores beef in all of its glorious, unprocessed forms (and a few less glorious processed forms too), I shouldn't have made such a school-boy error...

That's OK.

Just say 3 hail hociR's and smash a K3 to bits with a hammer.

Stock market is having a discount sale today. Why are people always made sad by that?

I wonder what may have triggered this ... ?

All I know is that I have to start lying about my origins yet again ... I used to say for an eight year period that I was British, but now I guess that I am going to say that I am Australian (due to that Brexit thingy) ... or better yet, maybe I am from New Zealand ... but then again I would have to start watching rugby and like it, too. Ugh.

Decisions, decisions.

Hey, I am French (on paper), but we can still be friends.

Oh, did I mention that we have a German exchange student in our house for a three-month period?

Non merci. Trop loin Est.

Vancouver, British Columbia. About an hour North. Climate similar to Pugetropolis.

They just sound different when they talk and their money is prettier.

Actually I can stay where I'm at. There are plenty of my (new) fellow countrymen living and working here.

I'll blend right in.

Cool! Make him sing the la Marseillaise every morning before breakfast, until his head explodes

I'm still having a hard time getting my head around the new plastic £5 notes... they just feel "wrong" somehow. I assume Scotland has them too... In fact, didn't you have them before England?
