Well, it was supposed to be waterproof.
Not waterproof, not Budweiser proof, champagne proof.

Yeah, I did consider mentioning the real Budweiser. But that would be confusing - they make beer, after all.

Can champagne extinguish the Galaxy Note 7, too?

Bob, I've endured merciless criticism before for my love of American "beer" (by which I mean the major brand lager-beers), but I'll show my support once more for the record On a hot summer's day, an ice-cold Bud, Coors, Michelob or Pabst is just the ticket for me. I don't classify it as a remotely similar drink to a good real ale, but it serves a purpose and does so very well IMHO

Thanks for having my back Mike.
I seldom drink beer anymore, never cared much for Bud, but enough Busch Bavarian has went down these pipes to float a ship.

BTW, back in my surveying days I did some survey work on top of that smaller building in the (net borrowed) pic above.
Can't remember what it was for though.

You left out Hoegaarden, best summer beer eva. I used to drink a Coors lite after baseball so I could legally drive home. Tess used to make fun of me. Guess who drank about 30 Coors light this summer, one hint, it wasn't me. It was all she drank through the heat of the summer.

There's some beers you drink because it's hot, you're thirsty, and you want something just a little bit stronger than water.

Maple syrup can also be good on vanilla ice cream.
Better not forget that...

The composition of maple syrup is quite consistent, but honey is wildly variable depending on what flowers are available to the bees. So if honey always tastes the same to you, you're probably buying a commercial product from a super market.
Our honey is from our buys on our land, I find that supermarket honey often isn't as good...

I don't drink much of anything these days. If I go out with friends for dinner, I enjoy good wine (usually red)... But a cold beer on a hot day is still a treat

Hoegaarden is delicious. I put that in a class above the basic thirst-quenchers

Over the last few months, if I've fancied a beer then I tend to go with one of two zero alcohol types - Bavaria 0.0% (which is a Dutch lager), or BrewDog Nanny State (an extremely-hoppy English bitter - and 0.5% rather than completely alcohol-free). The Bavaria is *great* with barbecues, or for cooling off after mowing the lawns. The BrewDog is one to savour and sip... It goes well with rich, spicy food Being able to drive afterwards is a nice side-benefit...
