I have a theory that Ladies and Gentlemen snore and XXXX in their sleep with about equal frequency, but because women wake more easily (or so seems to be the case, according The Internet), they are more aware of it happening on the other side of the bed.

They probably can't sleep because they are thinking about the K-3.

We have one of those lighthouses also.
It is not on, rather off, Point No Point.
I have couple pictures of it somewhere, too lazy to dig them up, so this will have to do.

Oh, that's a nice one... Never managed to get around Chesapeake bay :-(

You are much too rational for this discussion.

When my wife and I have discussions like that they usually end with me saying something like "I'm right, you're wrong, so drop it. Just shut up!"

Then out loud I say "Yes, dear....."

My husband and I have each threatened to record the other. I think he's exaggerating and he doesn't believe me at all.

Well, I wouldn't want to be accused of not taking this thread seriously! We all saw what happened to the last guy that did that!

(Too traumatized by mob justice to consider buying a K-3....)

At least you have this forum of sympathetic listeners, T ears this sometimes.

Ya, T and I do that too, but it's too much work to actually tape someone. We also have arguments in bed at night, that can't be settled until we can get up in the morning and google the answer. Even when I win, I lose, she gets mad at me if I'm right. At least if I'm wrong she's happy. Like gloating happy, but happy none the less.

And that's why I won't buy a K-3.... almost forgot.

And here is a photo of the lighthouse on Point No Point (yes, that really is its name) thereby proving the point! But now that we've got that illuminated, I still won't be getting a K3. Not enough digits in the available budget...

Jim
I have been there (Point No Point), but to return may well be pointless. The same may true for justifying the non-purchase of a K-3, but I will persevere.

Another reason I won't buy (another, like Lauren) K3: I keep buying lenses I never planned to buy because somebody put it in the Marketplace and once upon a time I must have said to myself, "If i ever see a SMC xx/x.x For Sale I'm just going to buy it," so I did, and I PayPal'ed right away before I got Buyers' Remorse and . . . and . . . and . . . manual focus lenses are really for the K-01 and film cameras, not the K3, right?.

Damn, LBA is a harsh mistress.
