I just read a photo story of a man that tamed an injured young alligator and was a close partner with him until the gator died of natural causes at age 50. He swam with him, slept by his side and they were best buddies.

I offered up this friendship story to Otis......his response was "Don't try that stuff with me!"

Regards!

they all bite
it's their job

customers are stupid and they lie
that's their job

our company originally left dogs and employees to work out some form of détente
then we got dog spray
german shepherds, probably from texas, love the stuff
then a new policy...need work done put your dog away...this was not optional behavior and it really cut down on dog bites

And he gives you 5 pennies
Move to Canada, we don't have pennies.

If the tab comes to $1.01, you get it for a dollar.

I Just got in after getting started about 9. 400 feet of driveway. I feel like the snow blower has vibrated my arms loose. I've done as much as I can with the blower. It's time to get out with the shovels and start scraping. There's 100 feet of driveway that has to be scraped down close to the gravel if we are to get up it. Oh did I mention the 60 foot rise from the base of the driveway to the house? The good thing about that is I can go at 60º angles and always shovel down hill.

Thanks, Norm. I feel better now.
I have a snow blower, but I really don't like using it unless there is 3-4 inches or more, or if it's really wet and heavy. It seems like it's more work than shoveling for lighter stuff.
Besides sidewalk and patio, we have about 50 feet of alley that needs to be cleared if there's more than an inch or 2. My Jeep and my truck handle it just fine, but my wife's Miata doesn't handle much depth.

Most of the time I tell folks without 4x4s, AWD or FWD to plan to walk the last 400 feet. We sold our Ford 2WD half ton because it had no chance on the hill, and had a habit of falling off the side of the hill when you tried to back it down after not making it. CAA is a wonderful thing.

Its like 30ºF here and Tess is grilling steaks of the barby. If you enjoy being called a wuss, just hang out with my better half for a while. Some of her friends call her "amazon woman."

I already changed to Canuckian last November, but since I live so close to Canuckistan, and so many of my newfound countrymen already live in my neighborhood, I figure I'm already there.

Why move when I can visit s neighbor and converse in Canuckian any time I choose?

Racer, I suspect that in your area of the country it's much as it is here.
We recognize and respect Canada's sovereignty, but we don't really consider Canadians to be "foreigners".
