Mrs Rupert and her staff for her Deaf Class......They are running an article on her class in a local area magazine and she took about three dozen X10 shots for me to process so some can be used in the article.

Mrs Rupert 2nd from left....

She spends about 20-30 hours a week in her involvement with the Deaf and her class. Keeps her very busy, so if she does ever retire, I have no doubt she will stay active and occupied!

Regards!

Soon I need to go to the land of strange food, USA. Fortunately for a short visit. Will see many friends, just not sure which ones yet. And will take a photographic apparatus of a largish kind with interchangeable lenses. Hopefully the weather to get out of here will be OK. Predictions are about tolerable but not great for travel out of here.

If you get out in the Pacific Northwet, PM me, and we can have a beer or coffee or something.

Matches the placard I hang from the mirror of my car when parked in designated spaces at the doctor's office or the market.

I apologize for posting the chewing gum song, I woke up this morning with it still stuck in my head.
Maybe this will purge it from my brain.

I heard your Prime Minister is headed this way....so you are in her entourage?

If he comes to Texas, I can beat that!

....and we have beer too! Fine beer from Shiner of Texas!

...or if he wants "strange and exotic" it will just take me a minute to run out to Hwy 51 and pick up something delicious!

.....and don't forget that in Texas we have the best girls...and lots of them!

....bring chocolate! They do love chocolate!

My advisor, Otis Squirrel told me....."Unless you want to hear hundreds of squirrels singing that for the next week, don't open that link!"........so I didn't!

Yep, and they are wonderful! No more circling for hours trying to find a spot close to the doors. I love mine! May be a reason old grumpy Jim will look back in time and say......."Hell, maybe it was worth it?"

I loved the part where you could roast wieners over a flaming lithium battery! Otis brought a couple of coat hangers and an 8 pack just in case the screen caught on fire!

Gonna take my old 2000 Dodge Ram in for a total tune -up today......it has 197K miles on it and still runs great , but I think it is time......the plug wires are acting up when it rains and the humidity is high. I considered a new truck, but after looking at them the sticker shock was too much for my old heart to handle. A "Plain Jane" is around $30K....absurdly unrealistic! Tricky as I am, that would be abuse of Mrs Rupert's debit card to an unforgivable degree.

Regards!

The muffler on my '01 Silverado went kablooey the other day.
Have to love mom and pop businesses, in and out in 40 minutes, cost $182, and none of that "You also need blah blah blah" nonsense.

Tim,
If you make it to the St Louis area I'll grill ya up some Spam and Velveeta.

Paired with a very nice local brew.

Just a few of them?? I would have thought all and every one of them would beat Hellveeta on the worst of bad hair days without breaking a sweat

I guess Texan girls aren't what they used to be
