With the circulation of heat in a Weber being so good, I've never used the rotisserie. Chickens and turkeys usually just with the indirect method. Unless I spatchcock a chicken. The rotisserie is still in it's box!

I thought of getting one for my Genesis 1000... The kettle, that I use most of the time, is just fantastic on indirect.

It still has a South African plug on it! I'll have to change to an NZ one and give it a whirl!

Absolutely!

How about a whole pig, ribs and all?

{full disclosure: this little piggy wasn't roasted on a Weber}

I have this Weber accessory called a "rib rack". See https://www.weber.co.za/product/rib-rack/

I have never cooked just a one rack. Seems that the rotisserie could come in handy in that situation.

Thats why you need a Weber rib rack. You can stack 6-7 rib racks in one go.

I get my ribs from the Butcher Man...cooked in his smoker machine. No use in me trying to do better...it can't be done!

He has smoked pig ears too...you can't get those just anywhere!

Regards!
