EDIT; I see Tim beat me to it!
All day long. When the plane is done I bet that 30% of the original amount of aluminum that goes in the door in the form of sub-assemblies and parts is in a scrap bin somewhere waiting to be melted down and added back into the raw material stream.

Even a dead Ford is preferable to anything else!

Truth be told, I like all old cars - especially USA made ones.

Let's not forget about the Ford Edsel.
I was 11 years old, 1958, when I got to check one out on a transport truck driven by a friend's uncle.
We were amazed at the push button tranny in the center of the steering wheel, seemed stupid to us.

A Ford, and a Chevy up ahead. Isn't this what called "a little deuce coupe?" Perhaps not, as it should be called a roadster. No trunk, no doors, no windows, no top, no windshield wipers (who would drive this in the rain or snow?). Low on the the list of its attributes: practicality.
