I've tried to get the recipe from the waitresses with no luck.
Probably something real simple. The best ones usually are.

Well, I will restate my wing position...and I have eaten wings all over the place. If you finish your wings and there is ANY meat left on them, they don't compare to KFC wings, where the tenderness is such that all meat falls of in your mouth...even if you have no teeth. If part of your wing enjoyment is working the wings like a dog with a bone, you won't enjoy KFC wings...there is no work involved. I am not even a KFC fan, the service is horrible, the prices are too high, and their fried chicken is 2nd rate, at best. But their original recipe wings are shipped directly from heaven!

Regards!

the secret is/was pressure cooking/frying

I have no idea how they do it now but at least in the middle 80's there were large pressure cookers in the kitchens

That is still the secret. Ultra tender and all the flavors stay in. Like a slow cooker, but very fast cooking time. Most Wing Joints use speed frying, and the result is a tough wing. The sauce is not "cooked in" when you fry, but the seasoning is when you pressure cook.

Hey, if you go for the "hooters" I got no problem with that! The "hooters" at KFC are not anything to admire...in fact, they can even ruin a good wing meal if you get a glance at them.....My last visit to KFC involved a 200+ pound order taker that was hard to understand because she had no teeth and was around 80 years old...but I was there for the wings!

Regards!

OK Jim.

I would go to the KFC, but they don't serve beer.

How can I enjoy some wings without beer?

Beer makes the world go 'round.

Alongside bacon.

Smoked a meatloaf yesterday.
Inside there's diced bacon, jalapeno peppers, dill pickle, and onions.

This morning's meatloaf, bacon, cheese, egg McBob.

Linux users can continue as normal, though. As with viruses, Linux isn't routinely at risk from bagpipe music...

Sorry....yes, just talked with her...she came home a couple of days ago and was out eating steak at Outback Cafe yesterday...so I guess she is feeling much better! Says she is tired and a little weak, but gaining strength fast. It was a closer call than I think she realized, but she is pretty damn tough!

Taxes....Can't say what I am thinking....harder than ever, more questions, more forms, more headache. We always hear various politicians say "I'm gonna make them easy to do on a postcard".....yeah right! When hell freezes over.

Regards!
