Well, here you go. The world's largest slab of bacon. And the photo was taken with a K3!
Is that in Utah?

No, it is about 6 miles north of Gardiner Montana on the road (Rte 89) from Livingston, MT to the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. I plan on being there in a month or so.

I see. Been through there about a million years ago, but must have missed it.

There is a similar rock formation in Utah, along I84, named Devil's Slide.

Next, I remove the belly meat. It doesn’t seem like much and I often see people throw this away, but I consider it a choice cut of meat. This is actually the area where bacon comes from on a pig. Would you throw away the bacon? I didn’t think so. Trim this down the ribs and close up against the loin. In the photo, I have removed the belly skin on the left side and am working on the right.

You need to pace yourself and mix in some Peeps now and then.
Hmmm, bacon wrapped Peeps....................
my son cuts strips of bacon in two lengthwise
fries until this side of crisp
wraps the peep with a bacon strip and nukes the combo

surprisingly similar to bacon-wrapped twinkies...sugary extravagance

The hunt is not too popular with the greenies.

They call this the Devils' Slide too. I prefer the "Giant Slab of Bacon" myself. The first time I saw it, I was really hungry and it reminded me of a slab of bacon.

I'd think the hunting way of population control would be more humane than the introduction of a disease. It's not good to mess with an ecosystem.

Good grief, I'd of had that bunny dressed and on the grill in less time than it took him to "Trim this down the ribs and close up against the loin."
Skin, gut, clean, quarter and cook it for cryin' out loud.

He is a different sort of connoisseur than you or I Bob.

And to give him credit, he does save the belly. That's the bestest part.

Yeah. They tried that here. Problem was, the rabbits went underneath.

Of course... I was just mentioning the paragraph about the belly and bacon...
