No, it is about 6 miles north of Gardiner Montana on the road (Rte 89) from Livingston, MT to the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. I plan on being there in a month or so.

There is a similar rock formation in Utah, along I84, named Devil's Slide.

They call this the Devils' Slide too. I prefer the "Giant Slab of Bacon" myself. The first time I saw it, I was really hungry and it reminded me of a slab of bacon.

I'd think the hunting way of population control would be more humane than the introduction of a disease. It's not good to mess with an ecosystem.
