Meant to post some Easter dinner pictures but daughter wrecking the V Dub on Easter morning got my full attention.
As it would. Is she OK? Even if she is, it is a total distraction for the day. Even my daughter's minor scrape, that turned to be fixable by polishing was a big distraction when dealing with it at 10,000 miles.

This past Easter morning the VW Rabbit took one for the team and delivered my daughter slightly bruised but otherwise unscratched.
She veered into a ditch, hit a culvert and flipped 3 or 4 times, missing a utility pole by mere feet.
Wow. The rabbit is gone. Good she got with small injury. I have seen people after things like that. Those with seat belt climbed out, those without spent months getting repairs.

Two sheriffs deputies were on the scene, they thoroughly combed thru everything.
So far the only charge has been a failure to control speed to avoid a collision. That`s good for 3 points...
Driving while tired, can be scary, at any time of day.
In Australia there would probably be no penalty for that because no one else was injured. The costs and inconvenience such as insurance premium increase for a few years would be considered enough penalty and educative reminder. Saves them the cost of legally enforceable investigation.
