The page turned, maybe it is best left alone?...but I am still curious as to just what the heck that was all about? Like language, maybe in a foreign country things have different meanings???

Sometimes it is better to just move on and "give it a rest".

You must be referring to the photo of the person in a costume. Looked like the poster is in France possibly. So yeah, different culture, but who knows about the actual meaning.

Does bring up memories and thoughts about archaic times.

You are probably right.....strange customs abound in this world. Sort of a scary dress code, but so is what I see at Wallyworld far too often. Last week I ran in to get a few items and there was a "lady" walking around with a 6 point pair of antlers in a headband. Not all that unusual, but a little kid about 5 asked his mom if he could shoot her and bring her home to show dad!

I'd like to hear more about the new tractor........even some tractor stories of old would be nice. I have to live my tractor life through you...so you do have some responsibility.

Regards!

With the major flooding in our area a lot of schools are closed, one of them is, no kidding, Noah's Ark Day Care.

Not sure of what's going on with the last photo post over on the K1 Picture thread and am afraid to ask? Maybe someone can enlighten me? I'm pretty certain it's not a watermelon festival?
You're right, it's not. It's an Easter celebration, as the caption points out.

That's interesting.....and a better explanation than I got from Otis. He said they were wearing "Dunce Hats" because they were all a bunch of idiots. May be, we are in no way short of idiots in this world....not sayin' I agree with Otis in this particular case. I've seen some of his rituals in the Woods of Otis and dozens of little squirrels wearing Coonskin caps looks pretty idiotic to me?

Pretty normal.....eating a peanut while keeping an eye on the Sap Spout in case it opens up full throttle.

Maybe you should move to someplace drier; like the Olympic peninsula or Corpus Christi.

Rain is depressing! Lots of rain is unbearably depressing. Today was one of those rare perfect days....80F, light breeze, sunny skies and very low humidity. I haven't felt this good in many weeks. Weather greatly affects my disposition....always has. Bad weather can make me go "squirrely".

Bob....ever tried grilling indoors? I'm not recommending it, but it might relieve your dissatisfaction...for a few minutes?

Regards!

As as far a France taking over Australia three thing would have happened.
1) It would have been renamed and pronounced in such a way that makes no sense to the letters actually used in the spelling.
...as opposed to now??
