Sounds like you'll need the leafblower too!

Anyone know how to get bacon, beer, and Velveeta stains out of a tablecloth?
Yep.

Get a new tablecloth.

And bacon.

And all the talk of curing. I am pretty happy with my current condition and feel no need of curing of anything.

♫ Scottish Bagpipes - Highland Laddie ♫

Good to know you're ok Berty, thought maybe you were grounded for playing the pipes in the house again.

We went 12 hours without a post here.....had me concerned that maybe everyone celebrated post #3600 by eating a little too much of that chocolate lutefish?
Being old and wiser, I kept my consumption to a minimum. It was hard, but not that hard!

Regards!

"Good lordy! Sap is flowing again his morning!"

"You guys come on up, there is plenty! Beats the hell out of chocolate lutefish!"

Anyone know how to get rid of alarm birds, AKA whippoorwills? At 5:00 AM 3 of them fired up. One right outside one bedroom window, one outside another bedroom window, and another who somehow got on the roof. If they would only move it a couple hundred feet away from the house I think I'd be okay.

Not much you can do. They're federally protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

I wish the 50 or so who live on my property would migrate a couple hundred yards out from my house.

open the window and yell at them?

we moved our chorus of robins a hundred feet away by opening the window at 430 am and saying scram (well, maybe not that nice) for about a week this spring

whippoorwills are ground nesters...rake up the duff under the trees?

sometimes all you can do if make it inhospitable for them

see...big mack says use a leaf blower...brilliant
