Absolutely!
I was actually thinking of steaks like John Wayne had in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. Bigger than the plate, which was not small.

Condolences and prayers to our UK friends for another cowardly attack on freedom.
Woke up to hear that news. Manchester, at a concert with a US singer. Main audience is young girls.

News is saying the Mancunian's are really helping out those who are in difficulties as a result, which is just just like the stories of blitz times.

Not clear yet who is responsible, neither of the most likely groups has yet claimed responsibility but their fans have been celebrating.

Heard on BBC5 just after 4 this morning.

Our news says 19 dead and over 50 injured. I don't understand why someone would target kids at a concert. It's just wrong on so many levels.

So, for bragging rights, which is larger, Alaska or Ontario? It seems like Ontario is the northern neighbor to darn near half the continental U.S.
Ontario is 1,076,395 square kilometers (415,598 square miles). The Ontario border with the US is 2,760 km (1,715 mi).

Alaska is 1,723,337 square kilometers (665,384.04 square miles), and shares a 2,475 km (1,538 mi) border with Canada..

I'm wondering if Alaska has fewer people than Northern Ontario.
Probably depends on the time of year. With the permanent fund, the population swells significantly for around 6 months every year.

Usually the warmer months.

This is the only place in Texas to get a steak. The Big Texan, in Amarillo.

Home of the free 72 ounce steak.

Yep.

Utterly useless.

An abomination.

Pure evil.

Especially this one. Very evil.

So, you just turn up and they give you a free 72oz steak?

Or do you need to buy something else.

I think if I ate that much I would feel like I was staked to the floor.

While I was driving to work the number on the news increased to 22.

They were also saying that the believed perpetrator was among the deceased.

It is wrong, and also a symptom of a serious malaise in the world.

Any reading of the daily news confirms that. Everyone seems to feel they are specifically being abused or used and want to exact revenge. Some with violence. Making it worse, these dead and injured are just numbers, we read and move along until the next tragedy. If they had names and faces of our own friends or loved ones, the horror would no doubt be more personal by a large magnitude. I fear we have come to accept these evil events in a "distanced" sort of way?

We are all looking for answers, and no one delivers them. Maybe we should start by realizing our common goals and hopes instead of our differences? Sadly, that does not seem likely?

Regards!

I believe you have to eat the whole steak, and the fixins that go with it, to get it free.

A few have been successful....you can view their memorials in the cemetery out back.

I know my limitations, a Big Chop is about it for me.
