OK, at 16 ounces tot he pound 72 ounces is 4.5 pounds.

But.

72 ounces is 4.937 pounds (avoirdupois).

And 72 ounces is 2.239 kilograms, eh?

So shut up and eat your steak.
One more thing.

The weight given is the actual weight before cooking. Water and fat cook out and the mass of them is lost. SO the actual weight when placed on the plate and served up will be about 4 pounds.

More or less.

Maybe you can make use of this, Racer: Weight Converter - Online Conversion for Mass and Weight

The Romans had a method of eating such "legacies at a sitting", to quote Juvenal, but I shall spare you some details, except to say that it involved activities akin to those of teenagers who have imbibed in excessive measures of liquor, and, apparently, rose water. Does that place permit the exercise of that method?

This fits nicely with my phylosophy that anything worth doing is worth overdoing.

Avoirdupois | Definition of Avoirdupois by Merriam-Webster
My mistake.

I used Troy ounces to convert to Avoirdupois pounds.

So yes, it should be 4.5 lbs avoirdupois.

I have the right tool, I only need to learn how to correctly use it.

So the placeholder for a missing pic was intentional.

I get it now.

Right.

No woman in her right mind would give up one red cent for a pic of a circle with a bar through it.
