Back to serious prattle.
My egg this morning was a double yoker, and I wondered what happens when a double yolk egg hatches.
Two chicks?
Chick with two heads and four legs?
Chick with a split personality?
It seems there can be two chicks hatch, sometimes only one, but more likely none.

PS, I had bacon with my egg.

years ago a farmer told me his layers had "machine gun ovaries"....lots of double yolk eggs

theoretically if everything timed perfectly you should get twins
if that really happens?

My money is on your egg being in the "none" category.

Anyone reading this thread on the last several pages would have to believe we are a group of old guys by the music posted.......and one weird young guy with a bagpipe.

Love Santana ...my favorite...

There is a Rupert Story that always comes to mind with this one....

She was a dark haired petite beauty, cunning and conniving, perceived as an angel, with a soul as dark as the devil. He was a non-conformer, wild and self assured, with no fear of tempting the devil. It went on for several years from Jr High through High School. The episodes, and there were many...were legend and known to all. I fear even mentioning her name....for the havoc she would surely cause if she ever found me. It did not end well. Losing was never acceptable to her.....
The episodes......that's where the story is, but I'm not up to it yet. Maybe when I get over this.....if I get over this? I am beginning to have some doubts.

Regards!

well then listen to this it will cure what ails ya!

while looking for term for "fear of bagpipes" that wasn't merely derisory. I found this...

Ragnaröek - Spielmann - YouTube

since they are german perhaps he's playing a dudelsack
you can't hate a dudelsack in a metal band...can you?
Ooh, more music for me to download and play at the office!!! Gotta love it when the barbarian hordes of Northmen turn musical...

dayummm, lots and lots and lots of great music going on here. It's *ALL* great. I listen to just about anything (except hardcore rap) and can enjoy most of it.

For work, I like to have instrumentals or foreign-language bands, so I can get the musical beat without my brain getting tangled up in following lyrics. I can't tolerate conversations outside my door either - too distracting.

This week it's been "surf music" keeping me going. Lovin' the reverb!

A mix:

And a great Russian surf punkish band:
