It's okay though, Racer. Most of us of our generation have memories that are a bit hazy regarding that period.
Yeah, I suppose '69 was the second rewind.

And three days of fun and music.

That I watched on the 6 'o clock news.

My recollection of the late 80s to late 90s is pretty unreliable too, but I'm a little bit younger. We were just as loved up, though

808 State - Pacific 202 (audio only) - YouTube

Livin' Joy - Dreamer (1994) - YouTube

I have a kid brother, 10 years my junior, who is older than you.

They look a bit dry.

The crappy camera made them look like that

By the way, congratulations to the Kiwis.

They out did the US in the America's Cup in Bermuda.

Way to go!

Confused? You won't be, after this week's episode of SOAP.

Oh, wow - I used to love that show. It hasn't travelled too well, mind you. Very dated now... but still fun

Soap (TV comedy) opening/intro - YouTube
In honour of my time following soap in the 70s, I bought the DVD set. Unfortuantely I've never made it all the way through. It's just not as funny as it used to be.

It's funny how some shows that were funny back then are not so funny now.
I have total sit-com burn out, the sharks have all been jumped, nothing new to laugh about.
"Reality" TV is also the pits, always has been, always will be.

I'm not a big sailing follower but by the sounds of it I'm the exception. I much prefer boats with motors!
