Must soon be time for Bert to return.
Earlier today I was just wondering how many here have been suffering form "bagpipe withdrawal" with Bert being gone so long? Some of those missing here may be over on Youtube taking advantage of all that bagpipe stuff over there? I was over on Youtube a few days ago and did see a few I know browsing the bagpipe section as I accidentally came across the subject.......I won't mention any names, but you would be as shocked as I was if I did.

Just a hint......one guy was searching "Lutefish tunes on the bagpipe".....pretty scary stuff!

Regards!

Thank you! I don't want to dwell on my problems, now that this thread is back to very meaningful dialogue and serious discussions...but....

I gotta share this, it is thrilling to me! Last night I slept a solid 8 hours...no waking up and hacking for 30 minutes, no waking up gasping for my breath....just nice solid sleep and easy breathing. The new meds the Doc gave me almost immediately worked wonders. He said what I was on (prescribed by a previous doc) was insufficient for my needs ...and he was sure right! First time in over two months I have slept an entire night! So wonderful!

My apology for getting off the topic this morning......I'll try to post something more interesting than my nights sleep.

Dedicated to my friend Bob.....to keep his heart in rhythm!

No matter my mood, that one always puts a smile on my face....I think Bob likes it too...and I know Otis does!

Regards!
Good to hear you had a better nights rest Rupert! Neighbours dog and an alarm system woke me up early.

Here.

You'll have to cook it yourself.

I bet you have some interesting conversations with the boss when it is time for a raise.

Indeed! That's reminded me of an old joke:

A man owned a small ranch near Sheridan, Wyoming. The Wyoming Labor Department got a tip that he was not paying proper wages to his help and sent an investigator out to interview him.

"I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them," demanded the investigator.

"Well," replied the rancher, "there's my ranch hand who's been with me for 3 years. I pay him $1200 a week plus free room and board.

The cook has been here for 18 months, and I pay her $1000 per week plus free room and board.

Then there's the half-wit. He works about 18 hours every day, with no days off, and does about 90% of all the work around here. He makes about $10 per week and pays his own room and board.

But, I buy him a bottle of bourbon every Saturday night, and he also sleeps with my wife occasionally."

"That's the guy I want to talk to... the half-wit," says the investigator.

"You're talking to him," replied the rancher.

Hey! ......I'm a cheerful kind of guy....everyone knows that! Just because my body has gone all to hell is no reason to be a kill-joy!

Absolutely! No "certified" member of this thread would intentionally be lookin' for bagpipe tunes!

Regards!
