Great old song....what happened? Nowadays what I hear is mostly pathetic....I hardly listen to any modern "music".

Four hours of magical sounds!

Regards!

Bob, maybe we are lucky we did. There are plenty of things in this age I will not miss when I am gone. Heck, the best part of what I have now are the memories of better times gone by. Excepting those microwaves, of course....damn they are miracle machines!

Regards!

Are microwaves the best thing since sliced bread? They certainly are the best way to warm up many, many kinds of leftovers.

Surely you mean " ripened " or " matured, " never old.

A little Missouri trivia about sliced bread.
Chillicothe, Missouri, is the Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread--We're the Home of Sliced Bread!

I use mine to heat up home canned vegetables for dinner. Pop the lid off, place the jar in the microwave, set for 2 minutes, remove when the bell dings, drain and serve.

Instant living.

Rural style.

No preservatives.

No added salt.

Wholesome.

In Chillicothe, Ohio, Kenworth builds big trucks.

Only one Renton though.

In Renton, Washington, Kenworth builds bigger trucks.

Right down the street from where Boeing builds 49 737's a month.

Why? Congratulations to her.

When I was 30 I used to run 5 miles 8 km) a day to stay in shape. The longest run I ever did was 8 miles (12.8 km). In all my years of running I never experienced that mythological thing called the "runners high". I know people swear it is true, but it has never happened to me. To me running was always a chore like having to mow the lawn. Just do it and get it over with. I never felt like I just had to do it. I never experienced any overall feeling of energy etc in the rest of my life. About the only thing I noticed was that I could mow the lawn and not work up much a sweat.
I'll pass that on. And no, I've not been able to figure out why!

Speaking of getting high.
You know you're in Colorado when you see a billboard, along I-25 in Denver, advertising grow lights.
I've just bought some grow lights from China. For the aquarium plants. Promise.

That is a pretty truck. I want one. No idea what I'd do with it, but I want one!

So the big orange one is to tow the blue and white ones home to the factory when they have a breakdown out there in the sky?
