Hope you are all having a great day with family and friends. We've had a few visitors....are not able to leave home but are still enjoying the day together. Kat and her sister are making a big dinner for their family and friends....and are sharing it with me and Gail . Brought us a homemade rhubarb pie....hey, that is some pretty good eatin'!

Extra rations for all the critters today......70F, zero wind, beautiful blue skies and low humidity ( I can breathe today!). Sort of a peaceful easy feeling today.....gotta love that!

Best Regards!

And then take note that you frequently go on training rides with fit, young people just like that

get some looser lycra, my guess is you need more ball room.
It needs to be tight so that it moves with you. Loose clothing chafes and that can do some major damage on a long ride.

I was talking about Mark's ballet problems, not his bike riding.

Holy cow.

That video is nearly an hour long.

Nice way to get the skin nice and crispy though.

Ha! Funny you should ask. I did a race one weekend and directly after the race, a very important client of mine rang and asked if I could come around right away. I responded that I was only a few km away and could come right away, if he did not mind seeing me in lycra. He laughed and said no problem. So yes, I've had a client meeting in lycra.

Interestingly, in my experience with several high profile clients: The more important they are, the less they care about trivial stuff like what you wear or drive.

Some people do make such a big deal of such things. I found it really funny once. I was driving a Corolla, about 10 years old. Went to an open inspection, the agent did not talk to me. Two days later I went to the office which that agent owned to make an offer on a house being sold by another member of staff, and later that day I had a signed up contract on said house. The agent who did not talk to me wasmost apologetic when I was making an offer on a house through his office.

Not us, we are still here.
No turkey this time but the grab-cakes, Southern Maryland stuffed ham, Finnish meatballs, chicken and the scalloped potatoes all took a hit
