We do have access to other media sources.
But we will not use them to check up on a cricket game.

Aha, so that's why there's been only static noise on the radio lately...

The funny thing is that nobody seems to have any idea what to use the freed-up frequencies for.

About 0410. Time to finish the morning cuppa joe and hit the trail.

Today is drill day.

A wing spar is patiently waiting for me to perforate it with a few hundred holes.

Germans knew faster ways of perforating Boeing products during the first half of the 1940s. Some of their methods have influence the design of the current range of Boeing products.

Unoccupied FM channels do not produce static noise (unlike the AM channels). Must something wrong with your radio.

He was charged with assault. And possibly may be facing an all expenses paid holiday in the government resort.

BTW: at stumps it got to 4/305. Clearly the beer in the pavilion was not to their taste.

Now if Australia holds out for a draw at the WACA, then in the remaining two tests they need only draw or win one and they win the ashes.
And the commentators will pull their heads in if they do not look like whitewashing the series.

I'm fairly certain most FM radios will give a hiss when tuned to unoccupied frequencies. Might be noise from nearby frequencies or something, or just noise from the electronics themselves. But I'm not able to check - I have only DAB+ radios now.

It's definitely "important stuff" for him. Or at least it is now. But really, I can't say I would be overly upset should I discover that a surgeon had scribbled their autograph on my liver. Had he been smart, though, he would have offered a tattoo service for your intestines

It'll be much more fun if England takes this and the next

Where'd everybody go?

I've been trying to run a .Net application on my poor Linux laptop. Many years since I last tried anything that stupid. I guess it's easier to just bring my work laptop with me home - it's infested with the latest and greatest Windows.
