Some kind of sadistic behaviour for sure. I'll call my therapist. This is going to cost me.

This thread has become one of the funniest in PF history

Sometime past in a forum where you can freely change username, I played a 1st of April prank where I and an old friend switched usernames, signature, and avatar. drove lots of people crazy.

Remember a camera company called Minolta? When it was purchased by Sony, they didn't bother branding the product line with anything other than Sony Alpha. So be thankful that Ricoh has seen fit to maintain the "Pentax" brand/product line.

I personally don't have a problem with Ricoh putting their name the camera, after all they do own the Pentax brand and trademark. I'm thankful that they value the Pentax brand enough to have purchased it in the first place. And if you want to see our beloved Pentax K mount system flourish in the future, I would suggest you join us in buying the newly branded Pentax cameras by Ricoh.

My new K3 says Ricoh on the back and the charger it came with says Hoya Corp.

Happy with the K3 and the charger is ok too.

One of, yes, but it has a long way to go to beat this one. Particularly for people who were around when it was started, so they they know the context.
