19,772.

The number of digital photos I have made using 3 digital cameras.

With the first, an *iStDL, I made 1,084 exposures.

The second, a K10D, recorded 9,448 images.

The third, a K5IIs has given me 9,240 photos.

All three are still working cameras, and reason enough to no buy a K3.

But.

When the K-1 comes down a bit I am set to acquire one. Probably time to place an ad in the Marketplace.

But first I must eat some bacon.

Bacon is the answer to everything.

Oh, and I love to watch Mrs. Racer when she is curling.

Good reason for adding washing windows to the summer games. Washing windows is a sport played in almost all countries, if not all.

That was my plan, too. Then I found one at a price I couldn't resist. So I guess it came down a bit. Or I failed to follow my plan

No matter, it's the best investment I have done since the K-5 joined our household.

Bah, they start playing around 3 AM. I'm fast asleep at that hour. And goodness knows I need every second of beauty sleep I can get! Besides, Team Norway didn't reach the finals anyway

No, have tried to catch a bit of live chess instead. Nakamura and Carlsen are playing for an unofficial world champion title in Fischer Random. Quite entertaining when they have to play unprepared like that. They'll be playing games 7 and 8 this afternoon.

Fast asleep?

At 3 AM I am having breakfast. I get up around 2 AM every day to get ready for my daily journey to the Big Shed to do my part building airplanes.

Yeah, well, but your 2 AM is, what, 11 AM here. So I guess the curling is happening around 6 PM onwards in your part of the world. Might be because the Canucks are the only ones taking curling seriously. Yeah, that's you, too

Things would've been so much easier if the flatearthers had been right.

Choosing between sleep, curling, and chess?
Guess this is what winters in Norway does to a person.

My youngest of 3 kids is 30 today and will soon be a dad to his own son.
I will tell him not to blink, 30 is when life starts accelerating.

Yeah...

I don't feel as down this winter as some of the previous ones, though. Escaping to the southern hemisphere for a couple of weeks when it's as its darkest here does help. Hope we can follow the same recipe next winter, maybe even get in an extra week

Ain't it the truth. And I'm pretty sure the acceleration is exponential

I shouldn't be so judgmental, my big plans for today are going out for more birdseed, and a stop at Aldis.
It's 13F going up to 38F, Wednesday and Thursday highs in the 60's, I'm ready for some of that!
