??? And where would this thread be if we all were thinking like that? I was really expecting better from you, Bob

Hey, looks like the snow has let up for a bit. The only good thing about having snow non-stop for two days while having a rental car is that I'm reminded of how good my life is without owning a car The trip to the rental office today was more of a sleigh ride than a drive. Oh yeah, and these new cars with all their fancy sensors... After a while of driving in salty snow-slush I had a bunch of warning lights flashing due to all the clogged up sensors (no adaptive cruise control, no automatic anti-collision thingy, no automatic headlights...). Too much useless information. If anything I actually needed to see had started flashing I probably wouldn't have noticed. Good thing it didn't start talking to me as well!

Damn you, I was watching for the count to get near 44444 to nab it and snoozed.
Four is my lucky number.

Snow never scares me.

I just wax up the skis and head for the slopes.

Schussing down the hill with two planks strapped to your feet is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

Let it snow.

Yeah, well, but your 2 AM is, what, 11 AM here. So I guess the curling is happening around 6 PM onwards in your part of the world.

Just got home from another busy day at the Big Shed.

Been up for about 14 hours now.

Gonna have dinner, relax a bit and hit the sack around 7 or 8 PM.

And tomorrow morning I'll do it all over again.

Tomorrow is drill day.

Plane number 1560.

Left wing.

Then Wednesday I assemble the stuff I drill tomorrow.

Thursday I drill plane number 1560 right hand.

Friday I assemble again.

Then the weekend. This coming weekend is the 'superbowl' of racing, the Daytona 500. You know where Racer will be. Glued to the television.

Next week I drill 3 days and assemble 2 days. Drill. Assemble. Drill. Assemble. Drill.

Then the weekend again.

And more racing.

Woot! Woot!

Might be because the Canucks are the only ones taking curling seriously. Yeah, that's you, too

That's right, eh?

Hey, don't shoot the messenger. Two of our cars have no cup holders and still have cassette tape players. That's about one week after Noah's ark!

My race car doesn't have any cup holders either.

But it does have a radio.

A 2 way radio.

Motorola.

I had a car once that would tell me my door was a jar.

And I always yelled back at it that it was a door, not a jar.

Stoopit car.

No.

It has a 5 point harness and a composite racing seat.

It had the same on the passenger side, but I took that out some years back.

No more riders.

That sure does cure the problem of screeching passengers, wailing passengers, weeing passengers, or passengers for that matter.

When the seat was still in it I took a lot of people for rides during track days. Most all of them had a great time, enjoyed it thoroughly. No screeching, wailing or weeing.

Well, some might have gone, "Weeeeee!!!!!!!!!"

Some even asked to go again.
