I guess I've never experienced more than about 50C, but I still haven't been in anything that is worse than the cold. Of course, some people seem immune to the cold but throw a fit once the temperature raise above 20C
It's not really that the cold can't be handled - just put on appropriate clothing and you won't be cold - but it's all the extra hassle. Just going out in the morning takes a lot of extra time with the extra layers, then again removing excess clothing when getting to work. Outdoor activities get restricted. Batteries deplete much more quickly, your fingers go numb in no time.
But hey, I shouldn't be complaining. I have a warm and cozy home, plenty of warm clothes - and the means to escape it all from time to time
