Found on Tumblr, made me chuckle:

The above gave me so many laughs, I've never heard of anyone putting divorce signs on a car to make fun of the "Just married" signs that are common. I wonder what would be proper to drag behind the car... the newlyweds drag tin cans, what would divorced people drag? Lawyers maybe?

It's a good way to advertise to the ladies that you have an automobile, and you're available again.

Well, maybe not that extreme but close.
This could get me in trouble but here we go...
That bacon was tasty as hell while being as crispy and moist as one could ever cook it!

Not sure I have any time pieces left that don't adjust themselves. When electricity supply fails - and society breaks down - I will have no idea what the time is

Unless, like me, you use your camera to tell the time when out and about

sun rise

noon

sun set

may not be extremely consistent for different locales but reliable on non cloudy days

Also, I've been known to rely on the opinion of others

Nope, it doesn't show the time on the top LCD But really, I could wish it would adjust the time automatically. Should I happen to remember to adjust the time when going on holiday it usually takes months before I remember to re-set it when I get home...

I have owned a couple Ford products. The first was actually a 1965 Mercury Comet Caliente. A light, nimble 2 door with room for 4 people, a 289 cubic inch V8 with 4 barrel carb, and a 3 speed full syncro transmission. Fast little car. Lots of fun.

And a Merc is just a fancy Ford.

Wish I still had it.

The second Ford I got is a 1948 8N tractor. Had it for almost 20 years now. In fact, it turned 70 this year. Still going strong too.

It has served me well.

The work it has helped me do is incredible. After building my house I used a 4 gang disc to break up and regrade the construction mess in preparation for a new lawn.

With an old military surplus Jeep wagon I pick up the winter blow down and the dead tree branches every spring, and haul it all down to the riverbank to use for evenings by the fire, or warming up after a swim.

But I have owned many other makes of car, and truck, even machinery.

I also have an older Kubota 2 cylinder diesel tractor that is the dedicated mower now. The 8N is used for towing mostly, but I do have a sickle bar for it that I want to mount. It also is used to grade and rake the driveway, and aerate the lawn.

Datsuns are nice too. At one time I had 14 of them. Down to much less now.

Here is two of them.

There are others, but it is late, and I must get some rest.

Sure good enough for me. Too bad everyone seems so keen on counting minutes and seconds.
