Ribs have to be about the most worthless, inefficient food ever conceived. You spend hours cooking something that is mostly inedible bone. You slobber them with your rubs and sauces. You spend more time in prepping and cooking them than you do for a complete Thanksgiving turkey dinner. And then consume them in 10 minutes. I like them but it is a lot of effort for a few ounces of meat. Easier just to grill up a steak or a burger.

Ribs are to meat what Super Bowl Sunday is to American football. 10 hours of mostly inane television programming surrounding 15 minutes of actual football activity,
