Like Shirley, and his cheap Bordeaux.

While Frankfurters are mentioned I'll make a public service announcement that we have high quality beers, wine and coffee in New Zealand, but the sausages leaves much to be desired.

I have grilled bacon wrapped hot dogs, and made healthy ones too.

Looks to me like someone with a very narrow an*s - and a very "artistic" talent! - had diarrhoea all over it

Sorry to hear that! They are not like my mother makes them of course.

Well, you are ("Ex"!) Finnish and so I guess that your mother is also Finnish! - so that (probably!) explains why her's are much better than those "Swedish" ones I had in IKEA many years ago .

OTOH, on reflection, hot dog sausages are just as bad as "those" meatballs

I had IKEA's meatballs once and thought they were very good.
Their cinnamon rolls are excellent!
No clue about the other IKEA stuff, I did not walk through the warehouse with Mrs Bob due to my claustrophobia.

Yup. You are correct. There is a definite difference between Finnish and Swedish meatball`s.
Still, sorry to hear about your experience. I have had them in three different IKEA stores within my reach and they were not that bad.

I like the meatballs enough to have a serve when I visit an IKEA.

You really have to eat while you can because it can take me hours - even days - to find the exit in those stores.

I have shambled around with a beard stubble, collapsing every now and again into a Saabviggen divan or an Agnethafrida sofabed for precious sleep, before plodding around the corner to the same junction of kitchenware I passed on Tuesday.
