Snow update. We got about 6 inches so far. A couple more on the way.
Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the new snowblower is delightful! And it isn't even named Ricoh, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!
Thank you! Thank you! I'll be here all week!!

That was a typo, I meant the thread would die out by 557 pages.... although, further revisionism of that estimate could be necessary. Besides since then the thread has moved on to more timeless topics like cheese and beer. It could go on for ... well.... as long as there is cheese and beer. That could be well after page 557.
Prediction is a tricky business especially when beer is involved. I'll cut you some slack;-)

No snow in Poitiers today, nor none this far for this winter season ... darned Gulf Stream.

Overcast, slight intermittent rain and about 8° C (upper 40's in F) ... yeck! I won't buy a K-3 silver, because I saw one at my B&M store this weekend ... not "silver" at all ... more a dull steel-metal grey ... much like the gloomy overcast days of a Poitiers winter.

I would consider K-3 purchase when they come out in "happy" colors ... like "sunshine" yellow. That would brighten up my day J

I would absolutely order a k-3 if I could get it a cool funky color.

Well, sort of. We have a more recent name for that as well, but now we're getting close to politics. And really, that other pile of s*** is not something I'm able to joke about yet.

Ok, back to talking business! The sun came out for a few minutes yesterday!! Can't remember when that last happened - must be sometime last year, I think.

How about a nice "French-frog" green ... maybe a limited edition color for each country ... what would you choose; I could go with green ... or maybe just have "hociR" in green on the back ... "rant-n-run, rant-n-run" ...

Not exactly - joined in 2008, has 121 posts. But last activity 11 days after this thread starting.

So I'd go for MIA

Not enough resolution... I'll take a stab in the dark: got any Tuborg, Guiness or Weihenstephan wheat beer in there?
Coopers Pale, Coopers Dark, Coopers Mild (only see that when flying SQ), Coopers Stout, ... Used to be brewed in one of the more exclusive suburbs here. Now on the other side of town on a site formerly used for sewage processing. (After remediation.)

Yes, and only 20 years ago! I'm impressed somebody still remembers!

Not going into politics here, far from it, but I believe those games cost around $1B. The Sochi games are at, what, $50B and counting? Now, if I had spent that kind of money on some ski slopes I'd be somewhat miffed if it didn't result in the BEST EFFing Winter Olympics ever!!

No? I kind of like the "Junebug" K-50.
