I actually really like FB for staying in touch with friends
I use FB for that reason only, friends and family.
If I start seeing political crap, or oversharers, they get snoozed or unfollowed.
Keeping my number of "friends" at 50 helps.

I just heard that Art Bell has died. I realize that it only means something to third shift workers, but he was a radio talk show legend. If it was weird, extraterrestrial, or conspiracy, Art was the man to call. No matter what, he did treat each caller with respect. I'm sure Racer probably spent a few nights listening to him on Coast to Coast. George Noory has the show now.

I doubt if many people outside of the US ever heard of him. Sort of like an all night radio talk show version of The X-Files.

Yep, listened to his show every night at work back when I was a mechanic on second shift at the power company.

Art Bell, Coast To Coast, from his studio in Parump, Nevada.

RIP Art Bell.

I do, but here's what it looks like just posting it directly here, the pic shows but I have to remove the by robtcorl umbrella etc stuff.
edit, in other words I've tried it both ways, using the link icon, and direct.

If I go to your Flickr page and copy the link it is just the URL, no "IMG" tags.

So I tried to do like Charlie shows, and get a box with a little "x" in it.

So then I manually add the BB Code tags and get this.

Oh, wait..

What?

So I try something else.

And still wind up with a tiny "x".

Here is what I get when I share one of my images from Flickr.

And after I strip the excess stuff.

By the way, next year that particular aircraft will be 30 years old.

speaking of a post

when I moved to Kansas I became aware of what is known as Post Rock country

where the settlers removed a type of limestone from the earth that they could carve into shape and use as fence posts.

" The limestone itself is found close to the surface and is usually uniform in thickness. One of its greatest attractions is that it is soft enough to shape when freshly quarried but hardens with exposure to the air.
" - Post Rock Cutting - Kansas Folk Art - Kansapedia - Kansas Historical Society

This was done due to the lack of timber for wooden fence posts on the treeless prairie

any one heard of anything similar to that ?

Finn said ' Got my post post 4 5 9 hundred' in response to having one of his posts being #45900. Charlie replied 'Me too' which doesn't make sense.
