And during! I'm vice president of a Touring Cycle club here and any excuse will do for bakery and coffee breaks.

On a warm afternoon, if I'm riding through a country town it's also difficult for me to go by the local pub without dropping in for a quiet one of whatever's on tap.

This may seem contra to health/fitness, but I'm not going head to head with Chris Froome at the next Tour, I like to enjoy any day I'm not in the office.

Are there ski resorts?

All the skiers I know (including my stepsons) reckon New Zealand skiing's good ... the Aussie season is about 48 hours long, so perhaps it's only by comparison!

If you did drive your own car there you would find the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

You went on a cruise there, right? For skiing, you've got your own great resorts and Canada as well.

yeah, we cruised down the west side of the South Island, around the bottom and up to the North Island and then flew home

so I know a few things

1 they are islands so hard to drive to - besides, I don't ski

2 I did all of that so of course there is absolutely no reason to go back

3 I'm kidding about #2 would love going back and try to see the 99% of the country we missed

4 we had a great time

5 met lots of nice people

Would like to but fresh out of cooked Bacon.
All I have is a shaved prime-rib sandwich that I had planned to be my dinner.

Supposed it could be used as bait to lure in the missing Bacon master?
