And of course the driver's side, and the passenger side.

Did I miss any?

But the shiny side isn't always the top side.

And not all of them have a shiny side.

Some have more of a 'patina'.

This one is as shiny inside and on the bottom as it is on the outside and topside.

Certainly a lot shinier than when I bought it.

A driver's ed car!

When I took driver's ed I was new to driving on the road, and there is an old trestle near here that we drove across, two lanes Eastbound on one, and two lanes Westbound on another. I was timid about staying to center or right of the right lane as there is no shoulder, just a guard rail about 2" off of the fog line. So as I was crowding the center stripe the instructor tried tugging his wheel to the right. This began a bit of a tug of war between he and I. Finally, after a severe pull by both of us I let go. He darned near steered the car into the guard rail.

Noticing that I had released the wheel he dynamited the brake pedal.

I mashed the gas.

The torque of the 318 cubic inch V8 under the hood overcame the right rear brakes ability to hold the wheel from spinning, and it started a cool burnout.

Meanwhile traffic was collecting behind us, and going by (the speed limit is 60 mph).

I asked him who was driving, he or I. After a moment he let go and gave the car back to me. And I tried to keep it more centered in the lane.

He never said a word after that.

I should add the cars the high school had for driver's ed were the 1972 Plymouth Scamp. A light little car with a powerful V8 and automatic. Like this (not my picture):

Looks like the business end of a transmission that outputs torque to a transfer case.

Oh, and just where is the transfer case?
