FYI, I'm watching American baseball.

Dija see that Oakland whupped Toronto 5 to 4 today?

Last Wednesday the Jays kicked the Mets butts 12 to 1, yay.

Then Thursday the Athletics mashed the Jays 10 to 5, Friday it was Oakland 3, Jays 1.

My fellow Canuckian baseball team sucks.

In the FA Cup final yesterday Chelsea 1, Manchester United (who left out Manchester City when they united Manchester) 0 (nil).

The coach of Manchester United says that the best team n the competition came up runner-up.

He clearly does not understand the word "best", which means the team that won.

He must learn to coach his team so that they actually go out and kick goals and win.

Picked up this little piece of brisket today.
I'm sure Ex Finn, Mark, and other bbq'ers can understand my excitement about the fat marbling.

Very nice Bob! Yum!

Guess everyone is out celebrating the Royal Wedding.
Mrs Bob has the whole thing recorded to watch later.
Seen it twice now. Live last night with Annie and this afternoon with my mom. The Duke of Edinburgh (the Queen's husband) will be 97 on the 10th of June. He's looking pretty good for (almost) 97!

I thought it was a nice wedding, even if the preacher did drone on rather long.

Heard a story of someone (or some-two) getting married at 4am in Vegas.

"Do you two wanna marry?"

"Umm, yes, that was sort of the idea..."

"Ok. You wanna marry him? Say yes!"

"Y-y-yes..."

"Good! You wanna marry her? Say yes!"

"Yes!"

"Married!"

I like it. May the wedding be short and the honeymoon long.

Several years ago a recently married co-worker kept on bragging about how many times they had sex on their honeymoon.
Another co-worker finally had enough and said:
"My wife and I only had sex a few times on our honeymoon, she wasn't used to it."

The big news here about the royal wedding is the sermon.

ABC in Australia had an article showing Elton John 'frowning' - he looked very unhappy listening to it. And many other looking like they felt embarrassed by it, and the bride's mother looking ike she was enjoying it greatly. Most interesting.

I think I'll cook this low and slow over lump charcoal using hickory wood for smoke.

I'd use mesquite rather than lump charcoal. It would compliment the hickory wood well.

Oh, and I see you must have traveled abroad for that dinosaur leg. It is priced in Euros.

Sweet!
