Racer Danica Patrick has crashed out of the 102dn running of the Indianapolis 500.

Pity, I would like to have seen her win.

And I would have liked to been able to giver that congratulatory kiss in victory lane. She is so hot.

Australian Will Power, from Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia (same town as our member Ash) has just won the 102nd Indy 500, driving for car owner Roger Penske.

Next up: The Coca Cola 600 from Charlotte, North Carolina.

600 miles of 200 mile an hour speed in 3600lb stock cars.

Oh yeah.

And, a couple weeks ago at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in Germany, 24 hours in Die Grüne Hölle.

Kyle Busch has finally done it, he has won at every track that the NASCAR Cup runs at. He checked off the last track he had not won at by winning the 600 miler at Charlotte this evening.

And he is not Australian.

Oh, and he also won the pole for today's race.

Power would love to do our iconic Bathurst 1000 race (touring cars, mountain course) at some point, but he's hoping to get another 4-5 years' employment doing Indy.

I heard him talk this morning ... he started racing a Datsun 1200 around dirt tracks, so he doesn't mind wretched conditions!
