I love the stuff. IKEA has a good selection of different flavors.

I don't buy that very often because when I do I eat the whole jar in one sitting. Small jar, medium jar, quart, it doesn't matter. Don't stand between me and a salad bar that has pickled herring on it.
I get it.

Please refer to post 2492 for insight from our illustrious moderator who has devoted the last few months of his life to a very principled oversight of this thread at the expense of his family, his career and, no doubt, his sanity. (Just kidding' about that last part. Anyone who would eat a quart of pickled herring at one sitting must have questionable mental faculties)

When did IKEA grow beyond furniture and household goods?

And if they are selling the K3 I'm not buying one!

If they are selling the K-3, they had better give me an optional slip cover for it too!

They sell a K3 kit that you must assemble. The instructions are in Swedish. On the back of the camera body is a small engraved birch plaque that reads "AEKI," which describes your eyes after puzzling out a Japanese language tech manual translated into Swedish.

The IKEA K camera was reviewed here. Who needs a K3?

They have always had the food section for homesick Swedes.
The stuff is very good and close enough to home for me.
My only gripe is that the food court serves inferior Swedish meat-balls, where I am used to the proper Finnish meat-balls
edit: till IKEA starts selling Finnish meat-balls, the K3 is not going to happen.
edit 2: just realized that, that is like saying "when hell freezes over"

And hey . . . . . . . . . . you're new around here, aren't you?

Welcome to the clubhouse!
Yes. Welcome to the clubhouse! We have a ton of fun in here.

But you must tell us why you won't buy a k-3.

I've already stated & shall reiterate that I will not buy one until the Arctic weather here in the South heads back from whence it came!

Werent you to far south to be one of the ones who got stuck in their car for 18 hours because of two inches of snow?

Im sorry but the skill of most Alabama drivers is pretty bad!

Alabama drivers? I grew up (okay, okay, I spent the first 18 years of my life) in the S.F. Bay area. My grandparents used to live in Manteca. The point is, I've never been to Alabama, but I know how Californians drive.

And I must reiterate (or obfuscate) that the last two storms we had here in the Arctic pushed up from the Eastern Seaboard, no doubt influenced by low pressure systems in Alabama. Or some such. Maybe. And until Alabama weather systems stabilise (note the 's' not 'z') we are in lock-down and cannot get out to buy K3's. It's all Alabama's fault that K3's aren't selling.

I am not sure I can be considered a californian yet. I have only been here since October. I can attest that the driving skill of most that share the road with me now is TERRIBLE. I am from Alabama and even I was astounded with what the little dusting of snow did. I can remember three years ago Huntsville AL had 3-4 inches of snow and it shut the city down for a week...
