I have an announcement to make: today I've eaten bacon.

Probably Italian bacon isn't as good as American bacon, but I can assure you that the fries ranked among the best I've ever eaten, and the meat was delicious, all 300g of it...

Those are ribbon fries AKA home made potato chips!
We get those at the brew pub up the road on trivia nights. Yum!

looks like the burger was cooked very rare

had to put a stake in it to keep it on the bun

rules of cooking steak

cook it rare, you can always cook it more, you can't uncook it at all

and making coffee

make it strong

you can always make it weaker, you can't make it stronger

and make it hot

IMHO, YMMV ( if you want to be wrong that is )

I disagree, cook it right the first time, learn the touch method or use an instant read thermometer.
