Just for you guys, here is one of Otis himself I shot this afternoon. It didn't meet his standards or approval, but I'm posting it anyhow. You can tell it is an "Authentic Otis" shot by the little sh*t eatin' grin that only Otis has.

That's because Rupert here have not even politely request for a signed model release prior to posting on the web and still continues to do so..

Most clients won't care what make you use, but what you produce.
Saying that, I see the K-3 more for sports/wildlife shooters than Wedding/Portrait ones.

24mp isn't needed for that type of work, nor do you need some of the other stuff.
I think the K-3 is a nice body, if you need what it offers.

I'd also add I don't think FF is a requirement for wedding/portraits either, but it would be useful for K mount to have something here

I don't have any clients. Does that mean I can buy a K3 without risking conflict or embarrassment?

I mean if carrying a Pentax was a shameful thing, carrying a Ricoh-branded Pentax might be doubly so.

Ones portfolio or body of work speaks for itself. Cameras and lenses are just tools.

As you well know, carrying a Nikon branded anything is triply so.

This thread has become one of the funniest in PF history

Sometime past in a forum where you can freely change username, I played a 1st of April prank where I and an old friend switched usernames, signature, and avatar. drove lots of people crazy.
Yea, I did that too, and was astounded at the way the woman I switched ID's with started hitting on the other women on the board... but we had a blast spoofing each other.

Which reminds me, I never did figure out whether Ricoh or Pentax is a bigger chick magnet? You cant say Richoh without saying "Rich" and "Oh!" which carries definite hints of trust/hedge funds... whereas you cant say Pentax without "pen" and "tax" which sounds like an accountant to me.

Ricoh ends in a soft syllable, Pentax ends in a hard syllable.
Still confused?

EDIT: WOW! Epiphany! Maybe the original premise of this thread isn't so far fetched after all.
