It ain't too bad here in the real world either. Expecting highs of 32°C today. Not very humble for being a Norwegian summer's day

BTW, what's your unit number, droid RichardS?
I don't have a unit number. I'm an individual!

Calm down, JP. It's never wrong to prioritise beer. Unless you prefer a bottle of cheap Baurdeaux, of course...

Y'all saw that Germany washed out of the World Cup ... well, guess what the family name of Marianne's German teacher is ...

Wait for it ...

Yeah ... and did I mention that he's German, too.

Apparently with a rather thick southern Germany-Austrian accent to boot ... according to my French better-half.

I’ve been through Missouri in the winter too. Without heat it is not fun.
We get the full gamut here in Ontario...-40 to +40 (+45 with the humidity this weekend!)

...weren't you the lucky one that won the 15 LTD some three years or so ago, or am I very much mistaken?
Let someone else win something then!

Just kidding eh... before someone thinks I'm serious

SATURDAY...

* TEMPERATURE...Air temperatures in the middle 90s to low 100s

That starts here tomorrow. First heat spell of the year for us. Been a weird year. One month of below normal temperatures followed by a month of above normal temperatures. We don't have central air so it is going to be a bit trying for us. Maybe this will be the one to put us over the edge. Out current furnace already has the coils so all we would need is the outside heat exchange unit.

Isn't water supposed to boil at 100°?

In the US, Volkswagen is running a series of car ads with people from various countries that are/were in the World Cup to root for their country instead. The one featuring the girl from Iceland was pretty funny. She wanted us to root for them because they don't have enough people to do the "Wave".
