If I move any slower it would mean I'm dead. I'm in no hurry to get there - so should I slow down or not?

Long story, we spent the whole afternoon at the pet hospital since our vet's office is closed for the holiday.
Our birthday girl, after a good start this morning, got worse, could not lay down for a second without popping back up.
Vitals checked out good, they gave her a couple of fluid injections under the skin of her back for dehydration, with meds for nausea and pain.
She looks like a 2 hump camel. Going to her regular vet tomorrow if not better. She's one tired pup, zonked out at home now.
There's about a half dozen or more possibilities for the problem, x-rays, blood tests, etc would be needed and a very good chance of no real diagnoses.
No barbecue today, shooting for tomorrow.
Sorry to hear Rob, I hope all is better with her soon

Oh, yes. Not sure when, but noticed the clock radio was alive again before 1 am. Maybe a five houre outage, then. We rarely have outages at all, and they are usually fixed within half an hour. No idea what was going on last night.

Then again, I did notice a squirrel hopping nonchalantly and demonstratively close by a bit prior to all going dark

The good news is that they didn't hold Milo for ransom until the bill was paid.
Here you pay when you leave. Today it was almost $200, but less than I thought it might be.

Brooke update.
She seems to be doing pretty well this morning, we'll see how it goes today.
I made her a scrambled egg with deli turkey for breakfast.

Thanks to all for your concerns, they are very much appreciated.

Good to hear - eggs and turkey is a good step up from rice and yoghurt!

You're sure she isn't just suffering from lack of bacon?
