Ok, to sum up: Everclear and other sorts of bourbon mix well with orange juice and pickled herring?

No wonder you guys eat a lot of possum stew!

Just leave the single malt Scotch out of this madness.

I'm waaay too upset to buy a K-3 now!

Oh, and Joel B will never get anywhere near my bottles of Scotch!

My precious...
Pickled herring is a finger food best eaten with ale. Never Scotch. Sometimes bourbon. But I hate bourbon so am only reporting my observations. If I had a K3, I would post a photo of pickled herring and a glass of ale.

Everclear is not bourbon, BTW. It is grain alcohol, suitable for internal combustion engines.

Kind of like well water that catches fire after there's been "fraking" in the area ... The government in France is wrestling with this issue.
Oh Lord, has frackimania now spread to western France?

I was trying to remember what my husband used Everclear to clean. He uses it to clean PCBs.

Yep .. it's being actively debated : Red light at first, then a faint green light and now flashing yellow ... we'll see. Would not be happening in my corner of France, but still concerned about the issue ... on verra, J

Great stuff for cleaning oily parts and carburetors. A gallon of denatured alcohol at the hardware store is way cheaper. But don't add it to your Coke.

Im not sure I ever used everclear to clean anything other than my insides (when I was younger, and far far more stupid than I am today). It is quite amazing what age does. Before I could drink like a fish, hop up the next morning and go to work. now I will miss at least one day trying to get over the "I feel like I was hit by a truck" feeling.

Jean, your part of France must have extensive shale deposits deep if the oil giants are exploring fracking. Ancient methane from dinosaur fa--s, locked in the shale and poised to flame your wells.

Age is a cruel mistress!

My brain doesn't feel any older than my early 20s. My body reminds me that I'm not!

I second that notion! When my boys want to wrestle with dad I have to use my size because quickness and flexibility are not what they used to be!

I heard that the OP is out of the portrait business and now is fully employed re-badging all HOCIR products as CaNikon. He's franchising the business if any of you want in.

If you start in on gardening, you won't have time to decide on a silver or a black K3.

Gumpy folks have to stick together. It is nice to gripe in company with someone who is as grumpy as you are.

Beware of grumpy people in large groups.

That is my most used phrase with my boys (who ought to be grand children but ....) "I'm old and I'm grumpy so suck it up". Along with "I'm right and you're wrong, I'm big and you're little and there's nothing you can do about."
