Before the Tull concert I wandered around town for two hours killing time and burning some SDcard space. Just going through those pictures now. I remembered taking this one on purpose just for this thread

Breakfast was some of that peaches and cream coffee cake that I mentioned earlier.
Good stuff!

Not much on the idiot box this morning.
WC 3rd place match (I didn't know they did this) or the TdF,
Found a favorite cooking show though, New Scandinavian Cooking.
Sadly my favorite, Tina, is not hosting. In one episode she was grilling on a blue Weber kettle.
Couldn't find it, found this:

Can one drive that entire series of ports on the mainland?
I believe so, but it would be a long drive slowed by all the ferry crossings - and by the often narrow and winding roads. Some of the main crossings have been replaced by bridges, though.

It is possible to drive from Oslo to Kirkenes in about 24 hours of taking the quickest route through Sweden and Finland, but it would take much, much longer following the coastline from Bergen to Kirkenes.

I just plotted in 8 of the stops on Google maps and it suggests 53 hours of nonstop driving following the quickest route. Add another 20 or so stops and you'll soon have problems with keeping up with the ship.

(And of course, should they/you ever happen to visit Oslo give me a shout.)

I have been watching that count since early June. Very little posting occurs while those of us in the Western Hemisphere are in bed. Usually I am just out of the top-ten list when I get up in the morning, but it just takes one or two posts to put me back in. Apparently last night {Western Hemisphere} was slightly worse than usual. I will be occupied today, so I also will have little to say for the next twelve hours.
But yet, we get posters from all over the world posting when members in the Western Hemisphere are awake

Posts from Europe Australia etc

You would think they would post at different times

I only have one cup on workdays.

Today is Saturday, and I am getting ready to go back downstairs and brew my third cup.

It will likely have a little somethin' somethin' in it too, eh?

I drink anywhere from two to six mugs of coffee on workdays. At home I drink only tea - proper tea, not tea bags "tea". I've lost count but finishing my 5th or 6th half litre mug for the day now.

I might have a glass of Lagavulin a bit later on, with just a drop of water to release the flavours.

Then maybe another glass.
