I have a similar situation

people tend to not like agreeing with my opinion publicly

privately well that can be a different story

I have to admit that when I am walking through a piece of forest land and find the track of off road cyclists off the " beaten track " , breaking a new trail so to speak

and knowing the risk of erosion, I am often sadden yet I realize that

man can cause destruction even by just walking across a field of grass, I know,

but it is a feeling I can't help
